Meet your professional local guide and driver at your Innsbruck hotel and hop on board of your luxury minivan. After about a 2 hour drive to Salzburg, start your Salzburg city sightseeing with a visit to the Mirabellgardens, also used for many scenes during ‘Do-Re-Mi’ in the world-famous movie Sound of Music. Many of the Do-Re-Mi scenes were filmed here.

Continue with a tour through the old town of Salzburg, passing Mozart’s residence, Mozart’s birthplace, the Salzburg Cathedral, the festival houses, St. Peter’s Church, Franciscan Church. Hellbrunn Palace with its trick fountains is the next attraction.

The prince archbishops used it as a place of celebration, pleasure and recreation. Hellbrunn served the bishops as a vacation domicile with a large garden and the trick fountains. The construction of pleasure palaces was highly fashionable in the early 17th century.
