This High Alpine Road will lead you through one of the most spectacular unspoilt landscapes on the globe, the Hohe Tauern National Park.

All vegetation forms possible in Europe you´ll find on that short trip from "Ferleiten" up to the "Franz-Josef Hoehe": Meadows, alpine pastures, rocks and ice. Then you are right in front of the highest mountain of Austria: The Grossglockner (3.798 m).
